The past weeks have been a bit dull at team Starmans. There's only two riders who occasionally did an effort to stretch their legs. Jan Hilberts rode to a few top 10's, which is nice. And there's Walter Sturkenboom, who is training to become an awesome climber. All this has a good reason: not getting too much points to miss the sign up of the Race of the Minutemen before it even opens up.
For Walter his early career isn't really what he expected. Normally trainees get the luxurious treatment and go train in sunny places, so they can already get used to the lifestyle of the top division team we hope to some day be.
However, a lack of income from prize money meant we had to opt for something cheaper. So Walter has been living in a tent halfway up the highest climb of the Netherlands: the Camerig. Management has ordered him to ride up and down the ascent's whopping two kilometers of climbing (134m elevation difference) until he's a very, very good climber. And so far it's not going too bad. He might even make the selection for RotM *knocks on wood*
Anyhow, the next few weeks will be about rebuilding nice form. We'll try to join a few breakaways in the next two weeks (and not win anything). Hopefully that results in a competitive team at Critérium la Grasse, and top form for Jef Pragt during RotM.

Petrescu isn't old! He'll do fine in TF!

I see, though I think with your support team Petrescu shouldn't do bad at all.

All my talent feautured guys maxes early as well. :p And probably Keovaliy will captain RotM. Petrescu is too old for this shit. :D But maybe things change and I will use his TF for one last battle :-)

And Jef is looking forward to race against his former captain Petrescu! Looks like he'll be contender for the podium again. :-)
Walter's will probably take over Jef's role in the team in a season or two, but I'm a bit afraid he'll max early, just like my two previous riders from the talent feature.
